Looks like I “get “ to speak in church on Easter Sunday. I will be doing some serious research and prayer and preparation for that. Maybe I will use this great, yet seldom quoted scripture from Isaiah 28. I like it a lot. Isaiah once again with his great imagery reminds us of our need for Christ and His atoning sacrifice. We need Christ, the finisher of our faith, to make up the difference.
“For the bed is shorter, than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. "
Isaiah was so smart!
I like it, but I do sort of get a comical picture in my head. :)
